I am: half Kiwi by birth; Irish and English by descent; a Chicago kid by heart; and an Australian by hearth.

I've been bitten by the traveling bug. I have:

road-tripped through the top half of the North Island of NZ, from Taranaki to Cape Reinga; saw, at various points, the east and southern coast of Australia from Cairns to Adelaide; wandered Chiang Kai Shek, the insane airport of Taipei; taken several bites out of the Big Apple; braved the desert to get a taste of Vegas; rode in a stretch limo truck through Los Angeles; walked through the perpetual dripping of Seattle, WA to gaze upon the Space Needle; road-tripped from Chicago, IL to fuckin' Baltimore, MD and back; driven through prime Christmas tree country in Estacada, OR; failed to get high - or indeed, out of the airport - in Amsterdam; had the best gelato in the world in Rome; saw the ruins of Pompeii and felt the weight of history in my very bones; experienced Independence Day in Washington DC; rocked out at Bumbershoot in Seattle, WA; rang in 2012 in London from the prime location of directly opposite the London Eye; lived and studied for seven months in Paris, France; attended Saint Patrick's Day in Dublin, Ireland, and had fever-dreams of dragons and castles in Sligo; studied and lived at the University of Urbana-Champaign, IL; experienced yarn mecca in Old Town, VA; was bewitched by Voodoo Donuts and Powell's in PDX; returned to LA for cuddle piles and fannish rants and the Death Museum.

I've done all of this in the past seven years. I can't wait to see what I can do with the next seven.
